Jay writes, 'The Steam Holiday Sale is now over, and I’m sure we’ve all picked up many new titles to add to our collections. One of the games I purchased during the sale was Torchlight II, Runic Games Diablo-clone that proves to be more in-depth and fun than Diablo III was. I’ve been really enjoying my time with the game itself, and was happy to see that it has built-in mod support.

1. Synergies adds 2 Custom made towns ( Table Mountain and Selrock ) each one of them has it's own specific vendors.
2. Reworked difficulty settings. Synergies is built around Veteran and Elite, but the MOD itself is much harder than the Vanilla version of the game, you will notice this from the start.
3. Random affixes on each monster that you encounter, making them unique.
4. Reworked Skill unlock Rate, they unlock at a earlier rate, but take longer to progress between points, ending at or above vanilla standards.
5. Reworked Fame Levels, a total of 50 to unlock!
6. Reworked Enchantment Stats, lower stat enchants allow for end game progression and better balance.
7. Vanilla Characters Skills have begun to be reworked to address the balance changes. We plan to continue tweaking them.
8. The ability to store gold and to transfer it between your characters through the money changer!
9. The ability to summon your Stashes everywhere.
10. Respec and Stat potions.
11. Gear is better, monsters are harder, all bosses are harder.
12. Green and Blue magical items have better affix rates, Unique's have better base DPS and Armor.
13. Two handed and dual wielding have better bonus's to bring them closer to the benefit of wearing a shield.
14. Monsters spawn more numerous throughout the game.

Changes to the Balance of the Game.

Crafting in Synergies

1. A whole new crafting system (Soulcrafting), only found in Synergies for end game armor!
2. Chaos Ember Crafting.
3. Craftable Damage absorption gems (up to 7% in DR).

Synergies Legendary Items

1. Over 300 new Legendary equipment, 30 in general play through, 90 in tier0 content and 240+ in tier1 content!

Endgame Dungeons in Synergies

1) Derinkuyu Raid (Tier0).

Derinkuyu is a custom dungeon only found in Synergies. In here you will find 18 Synergies exclusive Bosses that each drop a Synergies Legendary equipment.

Getting to the bosses is really hard because you have to fight your way through hundreds of unique monsters. Each and every one of the portals is guarded by a Guardian Spirit, can you defeat him ?

2) Or'ak Basin Zone (Tier 0.5)

This is the Troll homeland. This place is filled with Ancient Trolls that try to kill you. In here you will find Synergies Legendary equipment and Legendary Skulls in order to make your character stronger, this zone is also subjected to a minor debuff making it harder to progress through without a end game load out.

3) Darknessfalls Raid (Tier1)

Darknessfalls is an outdoor raid dungeon that will sport all the newest and hardest boss encounters in the dungeon, and be the place where you collect all the highest end game items within synergies. The zone has a 30% debuff to the player allowing for more growth and longevity in the loot searching.

4) Realms of Discord Leveling dungeon

The Realms of Discord are a series of small dungeons all chained to each other. It is currently the best place to level up your characters because every monster scales to your level. In here you will find the following levels.

Catacombs, Generic Cave, Desert Cave, Bandit Camp, Gorge, Ice Pass, Sewers, Dwarven Armory, The Nether, Crab Trap, levels and 6 Boss fights that have been reworked and added to for Synergies.

5) The Unstable Embers (alternative leveling)

The Unstable Embers are a portal scroll bought in Selrock. Going into the zone and destroying the Crystals you will get to fight a series of Monsters and Bosses. Can you Survive all the waves and make it through this dungeon alive?

6) Clockwork series of swarm maps

Can be bought from the Selrock vendors as well. Opening a portal to the Clockwork zone. You fight swarms of Champions, or boss monsters or community mercenaries depending on which one you enter. These scale to your level and can be a very interesting and fun alternative means to level.

1) The Necromancer - the spell casting, melee capable minion master is back at it in SynergiesMOD!

2) The Paladin - The close in your face fighting style, being developed by Ghostblade!

3) The Warlock - A duo charge bar using Melee capable spellcaster that is extremely unique in its design. Take on the Nether or Hell itself, play a warlock!

4) The Ranger and more!

1. Synergies Mod

The most comprehensive overhaul mod for Torchlight 2. Synergies is the largest, most ambitious modding project ever undertaken for the action-RPG. A great pack of new classes added to the game, including Witch Doctor, Hunter, Monk, Blackguard, Templar, and Druid. Well-made classes that add some extra variety to the base Torchlight 2 experience.

9. Brother’s In Arms

This mod aims to make your pets more than just pets. It turns your pet into your second character, allowing you to customise its gear, skill trees, equipment, and more. A great mod that a layer of multiple class management, and makes your companion far more effective.

A mod that changes the Berserker class into a dwarf, because dwarves are pretty cool, I guess. A simple mod that adds some dwarves into the world of Torchlight 2, which were sorely missing, obviously!

A new class inspired by various anime and manga. A fairly ridiculous character (in a good way) that’s sure to add a bit of insanity to Torchlight 2. Check out this chaotic and explosive class for a more dramatic Torchlight 2 experience.

14. Red Mage

Another Final Fantasy inspired class, the Red Mage mod adds a new spellcasting class to Torchlight 2. The Red Mage has a mix of melee and ranged skills, making it a menace from close range and far. A very nice mod, and a pretty unique class.

15. Phan’s Big Pets

If you are like me, one of my favorite things to do in any style of RPG is to have an awesome sidekick as a pet. This is exactly what Phan’s Big Pets allows you to do, it adds 26 more pets into the game for you and they are scaled to be very large in size. Some of the more notable pets that are included in this mod are the cave bear (as shown above), a dire wolf, and even a velociraptor. There are many different pets for whatever your preference is and by your side, they will make those dungeon fights a little less lonely!

16. Playable Werewolf Class

If you have ever wanted to be an unstoppable beast and tear your enemies apart as a werewolf, this mod is for you! It allows you to straight-up become the werewolf itself. Do not worry any weapons and armor you equip will still work and be active, it just won’t show on your werewolf. It comes with its own custom attack animations so you can really slice and dice as a werewolf would. It is recommended that you use this mod with a claw based weapon, as that makes the attack animations the smoothest. Happy hunting!

17. Respec and Restat Potions

Torchlight 2 has much different class builds and there are many different ways to advance your build, whether that be through the skill tree or different stats. Sometimes when you commit to a pathway or a build a little too early, it feels horrible. All that progress washed away because of a small mistake.

With this mod, you can change that! This mod adds 13 potions for purchase. This includes one full respec potion, one single point restat potion per stat, one five point restat potion per stat, and one ten point restat potion per stat. The respec potion will refund all of your skill points and the restat potion refunds X amount of points from whichever stat you choose. If you make a mistake or simply want to change your build, don’t fret because nothing is permanent thanks to this mod. The Respec and Restat Potions mod can let you customize and redo any possible build to your liking!
